well, this is how it goes, i went for an interview yesterday for an "advertising trainee" position.
lemme ask u, what do u think the jobscope is? based on the job title.. they described it as event management, sales and advertising and sumthing like that. So the guy asked me to go back today for a day of "on-the-job training" which turned out to be me, following around this perky lil bitch who thinks she is better than everyone else, asking for donations! WTF?! if it were you, u'd be pissed rite?
firstly, she introduces herself as a volunteer for a spastic organization and then proceeds to ask for a donation. now, its just strange how you introduce yourself as a volunteer and yet at the end of the day gets paid a basic salary plus incentive for each person who donates.. what a load of horseshyt! where does all the money go? yeah i'm sure it ends up back to the organization but its pretty much understood that the company gets a cut of the thing, doesnt it? sheesh..
and in the end, before the day was up, she turned to me and told me, u look tired, i think you should go home. coz if ur like this, ur demoralizing the team.. then pointed me the way to a taxi stand to take a cab back to my car... wth?! you bring me to some place like 20 kilometers away from the office, expect me to follow you around asking for donations and then just diss me off like that?! its really rather rude and irresponsible, isn't it? yea, i know i'm not cut out for something like that and for the simple reason of being polite, i did not request to leave as soon as i found out what she was going to so-called train me. HAH! its more like "watch how i do it so u can do it later" -end- OMG, SCREW YOU!
so basically i wasted virtually 3/4 of my day, come home and realized that i didnt show up for a monster slayer event which someone helped me register for PKO, which in turn upsetted a bunch of my guildmates. ARRGH!
well, thats pretty much how my day went so far. i hope yours was much better.. laters!

hello there.. I was shocked after I read this. Okey like this- I was interviewed for management administration trainee, I've been asked to go to 'on-job training' too. And now I really freak out bout this company ..can you explain what they were actually 'doing' in this so-called event management organization??

hey... i have came to this kinda interview before. those companies are suck! Advertising trainee? they can describe the jobscope very interesting and yet it is like cheap worker walking on the road asking for donation. the company i went is channeldirectasia. and yet, from the payment wise, it is definitely MLM which means you dont get any donation that particular month, you have $0. somemore need to recruit new member for your so called own team. fuck off!!
well... I searched high and low for this company's official website...couldn't find any... Yet again from myjobstreet.com stated they have 25 vacancies. So... I doubt it will be filled. Going around asking for DONATIONS is not what we wanna do... if we're looking for work experience right? Well...maybe after the interview I could walk off? lol

What the heck? I was being listed as 'unsuccessful' category and om this day I got an invitation for interview.
Advertising trainee, yeah, sounds interesting! After I try to find the roadmap for this company from the websites, I found none of it, even worse, it was stated under "no matches with any documents" from the google search, oh, for God's sake!
Thank God I've found this blog during my search of this company through the web, I knew in my heart, there's something wrong......
Anyway, I won't go for the interview......even though I was very keen to change another job.
All my friends, keep your eyes on these stuffs, sometimes we can be too innocent to become a sheep for the big bad wolf!
really thanks for this article..this article solve my problem and yet can said save my live or future..i on leave and went for interview..have a high expectation..because i really passion and interesting about event organization.if success..i thought i want to resign for my present job..even my present job was high salary and boss was good..but now..i have to give up already..thank you very much..
thanks for your sharing. i went for an interview before which called 'advertising trainee' too. There was no one in the office but only the interviewer. Out of the blue, she hired me on the spot and asked me to work immediately right on the following day (also one day on-job training). according to her, the head office is located in singapore and collaborates with hk, korea... after i went home and search from the internet, i found there's no such company ...

i will start work on next tuesday, as event coordinator.

Hi there, actually I went to that company interview as well and also undergoes to the 'one day on-job training'... So according what i had tried was quite interested & challenging 'but tat was not ask for donation' !! It's can fix myself to talk with more different type of ppl and build up my self-confidence so i think it is cant considered as bad experience !!
Somemore the person also got ask us going for the 'On-Job Training' so u can choose to stay or left, ppl r not force u to do anything!!
It is UP TO U !!
By the way, eventhought I'm not to join this company rite now but juz feel that ppl r 'never try never know', whose know u r not interested bt not every1 like u ???

I have experience in doing this selling "donation plan". I think they are from same group. The time i join is not event management but offer for management trainee. I try the job for some period there because curious and sound like nice during interview. They told you a lot of mentality control, must be energy all the time, smile and blar blar blar...Emm..something to learn but there are no basic salary or any subsidy for travel to the "event". Money come from the "donation plan" you sales. You have to spend money for petrol, tol, parking, lunch, dinner and others needed. every morning have to reached office at 8am and almost back 11pm at night. HUH!! I don't have extra money and energy to sweat, rather better stop faster.

hi...i just had a confirmation for my internship by this May with that company.They promised me RM1,000 for my internship allowance and that shocked me!!How could a trainee get that much of allowance..mm..thats weird!!And my girlfriend called me about this website she accidentally came across to read and called me!after i read all your comments,i think i'm not going there back...no way!!THANKS you all!!
hi. i am so glad that i found ur blog. cos u know what happen to this damn company?? they changed their name to Dreamsfactory Enterprise!! i have an interview with them tmr and now that i know what this company is doing, i m not going to attend the interview. it would be a waste of time. i m from mlk and to travel to PJ js for some shitty company is a total waste of time.

woah... i went for that 'on the job training' crap.. i got to know this after i quit d job training shit. they took me to cheras, some rural area, and ask me to sell pv perfumes =.='' i got fed up and jus took a cab back to kelana jaya. it was so freaking rural that it was hard to get a cab. GIRLS PLS DON GO FOR THIS COMPANY! U MIGHT NEVER KNOW WHERE THEY MIGHT TAKE U. i got a friend, same thing happened to him. but a different company. they took him from kl to negri sembilan for this training thing.
I worked for this company before as a so-called management trainee. During the 'on the job' training, after walking around the city for half a day, the person suddenly said "you look tired, you should go back. You can WALK to the komuter station"
Well, thanks for pointing out where the komuter station is...
A few days later, the same b!*** told me to go home by bus after taking me to another town. I quit the very next day
it happened to me too..
and wasted my petrol n parking ticket just to go there for 3 times interview.... wah ....
and later bro brought me to mid valley.. n asked me do i realy want this kind of job...
wah ....
"in the interview she said, one form rm30 we will earn"

then i called n cancel the job.. haha

This kind of company keep popping out, yet still have ppl get foolish-ed by their advertising way. I was 1 of d victim too, somemore is suggested by my University to sit for my internship position. Wat a suck company (Global XXX) to ask me and few of d shortlisted interviewssssssss to go for 1 day training ,selling their cheap..super cheap perfume to public at elsewhere. I was later reallocated to another company, and thank God this company have blacklisted in my Uni's list FOREVER.
OMG! I hv interview wif my friend today in the company. This company been exist for 2 yrs. Thx god i realize this before the training. Anyway, thx ya.

At 1st, im interest whn i saw Advertizing, event and management trainee.. thn i go kenala Jaya (their company) interview.. i was surprise that i been selected and going to hav a training tmr, i didnt know anything and i tot is follow them doing some event job..
in Nx day, i follow them go out.. at 1st they show their 'professional' intro themselve be veli friendly with u and so on, after tat they will go some place and .... SELL PERFUME !! shop by shop.. i feel like suck.. keep reject by public! and u know wat they say ? HAVE FUN !! dun focus on sale... !!
whole day 8am arrived thn 7pm bac home, wat the F 11hr at ourside..
okok , i try to think positive way, i guess this onli one of the project they handle..
2nd day i join them as my 1st day work in GLOBAL IMPACT ENTERPRISE, now turn me sell perfume....
i cant make any sale, they encourage my and help me ~ in my mind, i think this company like a cheating public company ~
go sell Pv collection perfume at every shop, retail shop, even go air port sell oso...
now i alr quit this job... i found it is cheating!! CHEATING PUBLIC AND U LEARN NOTTHING !!!

I just reported their company to JOBS DB.Com to make the correct legal action against them. Or to either report their scam to the police. hopefully, action will be taken to prevent any candidates from falling into their trap.
Hi, im the latest victims.
Went an interview to a company called "Action Maxx", manufacturer of "PV collection", located in Kelana jaya, oppo. the LRT station.
The 1st interview got so many interviewees, after few questions, asks me to have an "orientation"on the next day, will be the 2nd interview after the so called orientation. The position title is "branding and advertising trainee", sounds gorgeous right?
The day of orientation, 1 trainer brings me to Klang Town to do the PV Collection test market, hmmm....listen from word, still ok, guessing will be a kind of setting up a booth to do advertising.
Well, nothing much, with a bag carry few boxes of fragrance, run over the streets, shops, restaurants, to tell peoples we are advertisers from PV collection, now doing the promotion, bla bla bla.....
Although get shocked, but i will still work to the last, with my best effort, best smile, and then rejected their offers.
My friend just told me that i got many "family members" here. Count me in, ok.
